May Net Inflows: € 411 million 2017 YtD Net Inflows: € 2.9 billion

Milan, 12 June 2017

The Azimut Group recorded total net inflows of € 411 million in May 2017, reaching € 2.9 billion since the beginning of the year.

The net inflows figure of this month benefited from the consolidation of MTP, the latest Australian advisory company entering the AZ NGA perimeter. Net of the impact of this acquisition, the Group still recorded net inflows in the region of € 270 million in May.

Total assets under management stood at € 38.0 billion, and including assets under administration reached € 46.8 billion.

Sergio Albarelli, Azimut's CEO, comments: "Net inflows in May are a result of a strategic activity aimed at improving the asset quality within portfolios, including a number of reallocations from repos to more efficient solutions, and at the same time they take into account a number of redemptions from certain low margin institutional clients. Nonetheless, the growth of this month has also been sustained by our overseas business, reaching today more than 20% of our total assets and becoming a fundamental part of our growth and development."

Raccolta netta in maggio positiva per € 411 milioni Raccolta netta da inizio anno: € 2,9 miliardi

Il Gruppo Azimut ha registrato nel mese di maggio 2017 una raccolta netta positiva per € 411 milioni, portando così la raccolta netta da inizio anno a ca. € 2,9 miliardi.

Il dato di raccolta ha beneficiato del consolidamento di MTP, l'ultima società di consulenza finanziaria in Australia entrata a far parte di AZ NGA. Al netto del consolidamento delle masse da quest'ultima, il Gruppo Azimut ha conseguito nel mese di maggio una raccolta netta positiva di circa € 270 milioni.

Il totale delle masse comprensive del risparmio amministrato si attesta a fine maggio a € 46,8 miliardi, di cui € 38,0 miliardi fanno riferimento alle masse gestite.

Sergio Albarelli, CEO del Gruppo, commenta: "Il dato della raccolta di maggio è l'esito di un'attività strategica svolta per migliorare la qualità degli asset in portafoglio, che ha visto anche la riallocazione di numerose posizioni in pronti contro termine verso soluzioni più efficienti e risente negativamente del disinvestimento di alcuni clienti istituzionali a bassa marginalità. La crescita del Gruppo nel mese è stata sostenuta anche dalle attività all'estero, che hanno ormai raggiunto oltre il 20% delle masse totali in gestione, divenendo un elemento fondamentale del nostro sviluppo."
