Completion of AXA S.A.'s transformation into the Group's internal reinsurer following its merger with AXA Global Re

AXA announced today that AXA S.A., the holding company of AXA Group, has completed its previously announced transformation into AXA Group's internal reinsurer following its merger on June 30, 2022 with its captive reinsurer, AXA Global Re1 .

In line with previous announcements, AXA S.A. will reinsure for 2022 certain of its European P&C carriers, through annually renewable 25% quota-share reinsurance treaties, with retroactive effect to January 1, 2022.
