Appointment of new Non-Executive Director

Avon is pleased to announce that Pim Vervaat has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of the Company with effect from 1 March 2015.

Pim will chair the Audit Committee and will be a member of the Remuneration and Nominations Committees.

Pim, 49, is Chief Executive of RPC Group Plc, the UK based manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging and a FTSE 250 listed company.

"We are delighted that Pim is joining the Avon Rubber Board" said Chairman David Evans. "His strong financial background and proven executive skills in growing RPC both organically and by acquisition will support the Group in executing its continuing growth strategy".
