APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND RESULTS OF AGM

Avation PLC (LSE: AVAP), the commercial passenger aircraft leasing company, announces that it has appointed Mr. Derek Sharples as a non-executive Director of the Company to its Board today with effect from the conclusion of today's AGM. 

Mr. Sharples is a Singapore resident and is currently the Managing Director of Airbus Helicopters Southeast Asia. Formally Mr Sharples was Corporate Secretary and Head of the Legal Services at Airbus in Toulouse, France and also has experience as a director of a Toronto Listed public company.  Mr Sharples is a member of the Singapore Institute of Company Directors.

Commenting today, Jeff Chatfield, Executive Chairman of the Company said: "We are pleased to announce Mr. Sharples appointment as a non-executive director of our Company.   The Company conducted a wide search for a suitably qualified director with the external assistance of the Board Development Service of the Singapore Institute of Company Directors. Mr. Sharples will be considered to be an independent director."

RESULTS OF AGM

The Company announces that all resolutions were passed at the AGM held today this 15th of November 2016.
