Atea acquires IT infrastructure company in Finland

(Finland) Atea Oy in Finland has entered into

agreement to acquire all shares in Datawest Oy, a ICT

hardware and service provider in Western Finland.

Datawest Oy has 16 employees and realized revenue of

MEUR 6.4 (MNOK 52.1) and EBITDA of EUR 68,000 (MNOK

0.6) in the fiscal year ended May 2010. The company

has offices in Rauma, Pori and Turku and is selling

products and services from leading vendors as Cisco,

Citrix, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and VMware.

The acquired business is expected to generate revenue

of MEUR 7.0 (MNOK 57.0) and EBITDA of MEUR 0.2 (MNOK

1.6) in the existing fiscal year ending May 2011.

The acquisition will strengthen Atea's existing

business and local presence in Western Finland. New

customers, especially within the mid-size companies

and public sector as well as additional service

business, will be added to Atea´s portfolio.

Atea has acquired 100% of the shares from the

management of the company of which two out of three

will continue in Atea and be responsible for

accelerating the growth of the hardware and service

business in Western Finland.

The agreed transaction sum on cash and debt free

basis (enterprise value) is MEUR 0.7 (MNOK 5.7)

including an earn out element of MEUR 0.1 (MNOK 0.8).

The transaction will have effect as of October 26,

The acquisition of Datawest Oy in Finland is in line

with the announced 20:11:1 growth plan for Atea.
