On 28 December 2012, Graham Chipchase, a Director of the Company notified us that, on 27 December 2012, he purchased 850 AstraZeneca PLC Ordinary Shares of $0.25 each at a price of 2940 pence per share.

Following this purchase, Graham Chipchase has a total interest in 1,500 AstraZeneca shares.
