PLACEMENT OF SHARES AND OPTIONS
Further to the announcement dated 6 December 2007, Artemis Resources Limited (Artemis or the Company) is pleased to advise the placement of 15,513,840 shares at 25 cents per share with a 1-for-2 attaching option to sophisticated investors to raise $3.8m before costs of the issue.
Funds will be used primarily for the Company’s Niger Uranium JV, Copper and Molybdenum exploration project at its Spinifex Ridge - Bamboo Creek project, acquisitions and working capital purposes.
The Company has also placed 9m options at 1 cent per option to raise $90,000 (before costs) as approved by shareholders on 30 November 2007.
The Appendix 3A in relation to the shares and the options follows.

Mega Uranium through its wholly owned subsidiary Redport holds a 10% interest in Artemis.
