APN COMPLETES SALE OF ARM

Sydney, 28 December, 2016 – As previously announced, APN News & Media Limited [ASX, NZX: APN] entered into an agreement to sell Australian Regional Media (ARM) to a subsidiary of News Corp, subject to shareholder approval, certain conditions including ACCC and FIRB approval, and certain other required third party consents.

APN today announced the completion of the sale.
