BUTTE ANNOUNCES TERMINATION OF PROPOSED TRANSACTION WITH THE PURA CALI GROUP

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA – August 28, 2020 - Butte Energy Inc. (" Butte " or the " Company ") (TSXV: BEN.H) provides the following corporate update.

Further to the press release of November 28, 2018, announcing an agreement between the Company and Jonathan Lasser to complete a proposed transaction whereby Butte would acquire all of the issued and outstanding equity of Pura Valley, LLC and Pura Extractions, LLC, the Company has been unable to negotiate the terms of a definitive agreement and the agreement is terminated in accordance with the terms of the agreement.

The Company plans to investigate and pursue other business opportunities.
