Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited Floating Rate Transferable Certificates of Deposit due 8 May 2012 and 5.25% Transferable Certificates of Deposit due 8 May 2012

SUSPENSION FROM OFFICIAL QUOTATION and FINAL REMOVAL OF EXPIRED CLASS FROM QUOTATION

The Floating Rate Transferable Certificates of Deposit due 8 May 2012 and 5.25% Transferable Certificates of Deposit due 8 May 2012 (the “Notes”) of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited will be suspended from quotation from the close of business today, Monday 30 April 2012, in accordance with listing rule 17.2 pending the maturity of the Notes on 8 May 2012.

The Notes will be finally removed from official quotation with effect from Wednesday, 9 May 2012.
