Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited 7.25% Transferable Certificates of Deposit due 18 September 2012 and Floating Rate Transferable Certificates of Deposit due 18 September 2012

SUSPENSION FROM OFFICIAL QUOTATION and FINAL REMOVAL OF EXPIRED CLASS FROM QUOTATION

The 7.25% Transferable Certificates of Deposit due 18 September 2012 and Floating Rate Transferable Certificates of Deposit due 18 September 2012 (the “Notes”) of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited will be suspended from quotation from the close of business today, Thursday 6 September 2012, in accordance with listing rule 17.2 pending the maturity of the Notes on 18 September 2012.

The Notes will be finally removed from official quotation with effect from Wednesday, 19 September 2012.
