AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND BANKING GROUP LIMITED – DEFERRED SETTLEMENT TRADING – SUBORDINATED NOTES

On 14 February 2012, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited announced an offer of subordinated notes (“Subordinated Notes”). Please refer to the Replacement Offer Document dated 21 February 2012 for information regarding the terms of issue of the Subordinated Notes.

DEFERRED SETTLEMENT TRADING

It is expected that the Subordinated Notes will commence trading on a deferred settlement basis from 12pm EDST on Wednesday, 21 March 2012 (ASX Code: ANZHA).
