Anoto Group AB (publ.) Reorganizes Sales and Marketing
Lund, September 18, 2012 – As Anoto continues to pursue its strategy to climb the value chain and get closer to the business solution marketplace, the Sales and Marketing organization has been reorganized to better align with that strategy. The Anoto Sales and Marketing function will be split into two main areas:
- Global Sales, which will be headed by Max Marinissen. Max will be part of the Anoto management team and will assume his new job as SVP Global Sales on October 1.
- Global Marketing, which will be headed by Hein Haugland. Hein will be part of the Anoto management team as SVP Global Marketing.
Max Marinissen is an international business manager and has spent 30 years in the ICT industry. In the last 15 years he has spent his career as general manager in the highly competitive enterprise software sector. Mr. Marinissen has transformed and executed local and international business strategies resulting in sustainable growth and international expansion. In parallel he has built strategic partnerships with amongst others IBM, Accenture, SAP and Cap Gemini to accommodate and accelerate the growth ambitions in various strategic new industry sectors.
"We are excited to have Max onboard. Anoto is in the process of consolidating resources with existing partners to expand our business into new market channels; independent software vendors, system integrators and value added resellers. His long time experience in establishing sales channels in the ICT industry is of important value and the next step to secure future growth," says Stein Revelsby, CEO of Anoto Group AB (publ.).
"I am excited by Anoto's untapped international market potential which can be reached by a focused sales strategy and execution," says Max Marinissen. "I look forward to helping Anoto's team and partners to exploit this market potential."
Marketing activities on a global basis including marketing strategy, planning and direction will be outsourced to Culteva, Hein Haugland, who will be working closely with Anoto's marketing team for execution.
Hein Haugland is an international brand building consultant with 15 years expertise working inside international corporations with senior management, and consulting for Fortune 500 companies and start-ups. With a multi-disciplinary approach, Mr. Haugland has repositioned brands with strategy, marketing communication, corporate identity and product design leading to measurable increase in brand equity and sustainable recognition. As founder of Cultéva in New York, Mr. Haugland has delivered client-focused solutions in partnership with top-level management to actively create and implement effective client-centric brand building programs for mid- to large size companies. At Adidas, Mr. Haugland was responsible for developing global marketing-communication programs, corporate identity, brand endorsement strategy, and retail design development. At Fila, Mr. Haugland was creating brand statement marketing campaigns and new in-store solutions for global initiatives as part of positioning the company for rapid acquisition.
Because of this reorganization, the role of Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing has been eliminated, and so the occupant of that role, Joakim Nydemark, will be departing Anoto. "Joakim has played a key role in strengthening our relationship with the Anoto partner community over the past year, and his contributions are very much recognized and appreciated," says Stein Revelsby. "We wish Joakim great success and prosperity in his future endeavors."
