David Clarke not standing for AMP board re-election

AMP Limited today announced that David Clarke will not be standing for re-election as a nonexecutive director at the Annual General Meeting on 14 May 2009.

AMP Chairman Peter Mason said he was disappointed at Mr Clarke’s decision not to stand for re-election. “As a former and successful CEO of both MLC and BT Financial Group, David has brought a wealth of experience to the AMP Board and we are grateful for the significant contribution he has made to AMP.”
