Holding in Company

Amiad (AIM: AFS), a leading global producer of water treatment and filtration solutions, announces that it has been advised by Viola P.E. Ventures Management (2008) Ltd ("Viola"), a member of the Viola private equity group, that it has placed 3,543,554 ordinary shares, representing, in aggregate, approximately 15.6 per cent. of the issued share capital of Amiad, with institutional shareholders in the UK and Europe. The shares were placed at a price of 260 pence per ordinary share on 6 December 2013.

Following this disposal, Viola remains interested in 885,888 ordinary shares in Amiad, representing approximately 3.9 per cent. of Amiad's issued share capital.
