Aker BP ASA - Notification of trade

Reference is made to Aker BP's ("Aker BP") stock exchange

announcement today regarding a private placement

(the "Private Placement") of 22,376,438 new shares

in Aker BP.

BP Global Investments Limited ("BP") has subscribed for,

and been allocated, 6,712,148 new shares in the Private

Placement.

Following the completion of the share capital increase under

the Private Placement, BP will own 108,021,449 shares in

Aker BP, corresponding to 30 per cent of the outstanding

shares in the company.
