AF Gruppen acquires rock protection company

AF Gruppen (AFG) has, through its subsidiary VSP

Holding AS, entered into an agreement with the owners

of Fjerby AS to acquire 100 percent of the shares in

the company.

Fjerby AS was founded in 1979 and is Norway's oldest

specialist company within rock protection, and

delivers and mounts rock fall fences and avalanche

fences etc. The Company operates throughout Norway

and has a solid market position both as a material

supplier and as performing contractor.

The acquisition also includes taking over 50 percent

of the shares in DS Entreprenør AS, a company which

also offers rock protection services. Fjerby AS and

DS Entreprenør AS reported revenues of NOK 65 million

and 34 million respectively.
