Cancellation of contract in Russia

Reference is made to the press release of 8 February 2022, where Viking Supply Ships AB (Viking) announced the award of a multi-season contract for its four ice-classed anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels.

Reference is also made to the press release of 25 February 2022, following the Russian invasion of Ukraine, where Viking confirmed that the contract in question was for work in Russian waters, and where Viking considered it to be very likely that the contract would be cancelled or postponed.

The contract in question has now been cancelled without any further liabilities to any of the parties in the contract.

Viking is not pursuing any further business opportunities in Russia.
