Dear Sir / Madam,
Sub: Letter received from NSEL Investors Forum (NIF) for an amicable OTS (onetime settlement) for closure of litigation arising out of payment default by defaulters at NSEL platform 11 years ago.
Pursuant to the applicable regulations of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, we wish to inform that the Company has received a communication from NSEL Investors Forum ("NIF") an association representing a large number of traders who traded on the Exchange platform of National Spot Exchange Ltd. (“NSEL”) suggesting that the Company and NSEL consider an amicable OTS (one-time settlement) with the traders and for closure of litigation arising out of payment default by defaulters at NSEL platform 11 years ago.
NSEL Investors Forum has informed that they will communicate with all the traders and thereafter revert with a concrete proposal once they have consent from the majority of the traders. They have also informed that they believe that some brokers who were members of NSEL may also participate in the resolution process.
The letter was placed before the Board in its meeting held on 31[st] August, 2024 and the same was noted.
In case of any material development in the matter, the Company shall inform the Exchange.
